TEMPE, Ariz. - For the second consecutive year, sophomore setter, Marina Mercer has been awarded for her success outside of the court and in the classroom. After being selected to the 2006 Pac-10 All Academic First Team as a redshirt freshman, the sophomore has been selected to the 2007 CoSIDA/ESPN the Magazine Academic All-District Second Team.

The Chandler, Arizona native and sophomore setter with her current 1,183 assists, 65 kills, 19 service aces and 177 digs on the season also boasts a 3.94 GPA in business management.

Mercer is also up for Pac-10 All-Academic Team honors again, which will be released later this month.
