TEMPE, Ariz. - Kristin Trayser's ten kills led the Sun Devil offense Saturday night as they wrapped the 2007 regular season which saw them fall to the No. 5 USC Women of Troy 30-26, 30-23 and 30-18. USC finishes the season 25-4 overall and 14-4 in conference play as the Sun Devils wrap up with a 15-16 record and 7-11 in the Pac-10.
The Sun Devils came out firing in game one as they led through most of the game going neck-and-neck with the Women of Troy as they battled back and forth. ASU was led by Kristin Traser's six blazing kills with 17 tie scores before USC came out to edge away from the Sun Devils before finally taking the win 30-26.
Trayser led the offense again in game two as she collected four kills, while the Sun Devils were able to knot the score 13 times to keep up with the Women of Troy and stealing the lead four times. USC wasn't ready to fold though as Asia Kaczor and Diane Copenhagen both grabbed five kills as the Trojans pulled away with game two 30-23.
