The 2008 Sun Devil Softball Team would like to honor those members of the team which have been honored for their work in academics as an ASU "Scholar Baller". For the first time in ASU history, the softball team has divided the "Scholar Baller" award into two tiers. Gold "Scholar Baller" receipients have accumulated a 3.0-3.6 GPA while Maroon receipients have accumluated a 3.6-4.0 GPA.

The following softball team members have been awarded "Scholar Baller" honors for the 2007-2008 season:

Maroon: Clarissa Andorfer-Lopez, Rhiannon Baca, Caylyn Carlson, Jessica Mapes, Brooke Neuman, Michelle Nulliner, Sarah Rice, Lesley Rogers and Jackie Vasquez.

Gold: Katie Burkhart, Kaitlin Cochran, Katie Crabb, Krista Donnenwirth, Megan Elliott, Dani Rae Lougheed, Kristen Miller, Amanda Nesbitt and Jessie Ware.
