Katie returns to the Sun Devils after a solid 2008 season which saw her share time at first base starting 45 games for the Maroon and Gold. Last season Katie hit .220 with 17 runs scored and 22 driven in. Defensively she collected 198 put outs for a .986 fielding percentage. Highlights of the 2008 season for Crabb included three hits against Loyola-Chicago and three RBIs against San Diego.

A native of Roseville, Calif., and a 2006 graduate of Roseville High School, Crabb had to sit out part of her senior season due to an ACL injury. However, Crabb captained her team for one season and earned first team all-league honors from 2003-05, as well as her team's offensive MVP and overall MVP in 2005. She was also selected to the All Area Team. Furthermore, Crabb was a member of her school's volleyball team, which she captained for one season.

The exploratory major was born on November 14, 1987 in Roseville, Calif. to Mike (Business Owner) and Kim Crabb. She has one younger brother, Kevin (17). While still deciding on her major, she lists her ideal job as being an ESPN reporter.
