Women's Golf Finishes in Third in Hawaii

Oahu, Hawaii - The third ranked Arizona State women's golf team finished in third place at the Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational in Oahu, Hawaii. ASU shot a 33-over 897 (301-293-303) for the three-round tournament, 17 strokes off tournament champion Oklahoma State.

Junior All-American Azahara Munoz led the Sun Devils and finished in a tie for fourth after shooting a 5-over 221 (76-70-75). Sophomore All-American Anna Nordqvist finished in sixth after shooting a 6-over 222 (73-69-80). Sophomore Juliana Murcia shot a 10-over 226 (74-79-73) to finish in 11th place. Junior All-American Jennifer Osborn shot a 17-over 233 (78-75-80) to finish in 16th. Sophomore Liisa Kelo tied for 41st after shooting a 25-over 241 (80-86-75). Senior Camila Sola, playing as an individual, tied for 19th after shooting a 19-over 235 (76-78-81).

Next up, the Sun Devils compete on their home ASU Karsten Golf Course when ASU hosts the 2008 PING/ASU Invitational, April 4-6.
