Arizona State - 2006-07: Redshirted his first year with the program... won the 120kg Greco-Roman title at the University Nationals in Akron with a 4-2, 3-0 defeat of Joseph Sheffield in the finals... took second at 120kg Greco-Roman at the FILA Junior World Team Trials after finishing fifth at the Senior U.S. World Team Trials... went 1-2 at the FILA Junior World Team Trials in the 120kg freestyle competition... also place third in the 120kg division of Sombo at the U.S. Senior National Championships.
