Bellama and Brooklyn Place Second in Doubles at the Pac-10 Championships

OJAI, Calif. - The 2008 Pac-10 Men's Tennis Championships concluded with the Arizona State men's tennis No. 1 doubles team placing second overall and singles player Wes Miller finishing runner-up in the Invitational Singles Flight.

The No. 45 ranked and No. 2 seeded doubles team of Matt Brooklyn and T.J. Bellama saw their championship run come to an end with a loss to the No. 2 ranked and No. 1 seeded doubles team of Kaes Van't Hof and Robert Farah from USC. Bellama and Brooklyn fell 6-4, 6-4 in the championship match, placing second overall.

Miller, who had been a consistent force at the bottom of the lineup all season, took his opponent No. 2 Bozhidar Katsarov from California through two tough sets in the Invitational Singles Flight Championship. Miller fell 7-6 (4), 7-6 (7) in the championship match.

The Sun Devils will hear if they have been selected to an NCAA Regional on April 29.
