Men's Tennis Out Of Pac-10 Championships

April 24, 2004

OJAI, Calif. - The third day of play at the Pac-10 Championships concluded Saturday evening with one doubles team competing for the Arizona State men's tennis team at the conference event being held in Ojai, Calif. Unfortunately for the Sun Devils they did not survive to compete on the final day of competition.

The lone Sun Devils duo remaining in competition, Chris Stewart (Sr., Adelaide, Australia) and Jonathan Kinsella (So., Astley, England), took on the Stanford pair of K.C. Corkery and James Pade in a semi-final match to take them into the final match for the Pac-10 doubles championship tomorrow afternoon. The ASU pair came up short against the Cardinal duo, falling 8-5, which concluded competition for the Sun Devils.

The Sun Devils take some time off before they head to the NCAA Regionals on May 14-16.
