Arizona State is in eighth place after the first two rounds of the 20th annual PING/Golfweek Preview held in Toledo. The tournament is being played at the par-71, 7,255-yard Inverness Club and serves as a preview for the 2009 NCAA Championships.

ASU is at 16-over 584, shooting 292 in each round.

Sophomore Jesper Kennegard continues to play well as he is at 2-under 140 after his second straight round of 70. He is in seventh place.

Sophomore Stephan Gross is tied for 23rd at 3-over 145 (75-70) while freshman Chan Kim is at 5-over 147 (72-75), which is tied for 30th. Junior Braxton Marquez is at 15-over 157 (80-77) while freshman Scott Pinckney is at 16-over 158 (75-83).

Oklahoma State continued to set the pace for the 15-team field with an Inverness record team score of seven-under par 277. The Cowboys were four strokes under Florida State's mark from a year ago and hold an eight-stroke advantage over second-place Tennessee (284-283=567). OSU freshman Morgan Hoffman is leading all individuals with a seven-under par 135 (69-66).
