Men's Golf Earns Trip To NCAA Championships

The Arizona State men's golf team earned a trip to the NCAA Championships as it tied for fifth with a 15-over 879 (299-288-292) at the NCAA West Regional Championship held at Washington National Golf Club in Auburn, Wash. Pac-10 champion UCLA won the event with a an even par 864. The top 10 teams made the NCAA Championships to be held in Stillwater May 27-30. There were 27 teams competing in the West Regional. Six Pac-10 teams will advance to the NCAA Championships.

All five Sun Devils are in the top 52, as freshman Alejandro Canizares finished tied for 24th with a 3-over 219.
