Men's Golf Stays In The Hunt After Day Two In Las Vegas

The ASU Men's golf team played a solid round as a team and sits in 7th place with a 13-over par 589 (298-291). Georgia is in the team lead after 36 holes at the Southern Highlands Collegiate Championship. The Bulldogs are the only team under par with a 2-under 574 (289-285). Hudson Swafford of Georgia is the individual leader with an 8-under 136 (70-66). For the Sun Devils, Scott Pinckney leads the team and is tied for 17th with a 2-over 146 (70-76).

Three Sun Devils all sit tied for 27th after the second round. Sophomore Knut Borsheim (76-73), freshman Stephen Gross (79-70), and freshman Jesper Kennegard (76-73) all find themselves at 5-over 149. Sophomore Braxton Marquez is tied for 40th with a 7-over 151 (76-75).

The final round begins tomorrow morning at 8 a.m. PST following the daylight savings changes. Live stats will again be available on golfstat.com.
