OFF THE TEE: Came to ASU as one of the state's top prep players after graduating in 2005 from St. Mary's High School in Phoenix. Sat out the 2007-08 season with a shoulder injury. Entered ASU in the fall of 2005 with Erik Coover and 2006 honorable mention All-American Benjamin Alvarado Holley. Had a very productive junior career and twice won the Arizona Boys Match Play Championship. Played in three tournaments in his freshman year (2005-06) and improved score in each event and shot a season-low 76 in his final round of season at ASU Thunderbird Invitational.
PREP AND JUNIOR CAREER: A two-year captain and four-year letterman on the golf team at St. Mary's High School...stroke average was 36.8 in 2003 and 35.6 in 2004...the 2003 PGA Junior Series Player of the Year in the 13-15 Division...the 2003 and 2004 Arizona Boys State Match Play Champion and the 2004 Arizona Boys State champion.
