OFF THE TEE: Physically gifted player who will compete for a lineup spot in his senior season. A local product who was one of the top Arizona prep golfers at Desert Mountain. Very strong and hits the ball well off the tee. Consistently ranked as one of the top juniors in the nation by Junior Golf Scoreboard and Golfweek. Has played in eight events and has posted five rounds in the 60s, including a career-best 67 in the second round of the 2008 Thunderbird Invitational. Also a top student-athlete. Competed in four events in 2005-2006, including the 2006 Pac-10 Championships, and had a season-best 68 in the final round of the ASU Thunderbird Invitational on April 9 as he tied for 19th with a 1-under 212 (71-73-68). Also shot a 3-under 69 in the second round of the 2006 National Invitational in Tucson on March 27.
PREP AND JUNIOR CAREER: A three-year captain of the golf team at Desert Mountain...a 2002 Arizona All-State team selection...represented Arizona in the 2003 Junior America's Cup...team MVP in 2002 and most inspirational player in 2004 and 2005.
