Off the Tee: "I first saw James play at the 2006 European Boys Championship. I saw something special in him then and liked everything I saw," said Coach Lein. "This past summer he was the youngest player to play on the Scottish National Team. He was ranked in the World's top 30 at one point this past summer and has proved to be one of the very best players to come over to this country from the UK."
Prep and Junior Career: Attended the Banchory Academy in Banchory, Scotland...was the 2007 Scottish Boys Champion and was selected to the Scotland Mens European team...in 2006 won the Scotland Order of Merit...was the 2006 Newsland Trophy Champion as he shot nine under 271 and won by four strokes...was a member of the winning Scotland Boys team at Home Internationals in 2006...won the North East Scotland Boys Champtionship (shot nine-under par)...shot a career low round of 64 at the North Scotland Boys Championships.
