OFF THE TEE: One of two freshmen on the 2006-2007 squad (along with Knut Borsheim) who was regularly in the lineup who played in two tournaments last year...could not have done any better academically in his first semester as he posted a 4.0 grade point average and is one of the top student-athletes on the team...a member of the Dutch National Team...played in seven events in his freshmen year and his 72.64 stroke average is ninth-best by an ASU freshmen, better than future All-Americans Niklas Lemke, Matt Jones and Billy Mayfair...shot a 66 in the final round of the 2008 Ping Arizona Intercollegiate on Jan. 30...tied for 12th at 2008 Pac-10 Championship with a 2-under 286.
PREP AND JUNIOR CAREER: Member of the champion Dutch team at the 2005 European Boys Championship...also on winning squad at the Jacques L'Eglise Trophy competition...won the 2005 Danish Boys Championship and finished sixth at the European Young Masters, also in 2005.
