TEMPE, Ariz. (www.TheSunDevils.com) -- Arizona State junior 3B/OF Travis Buck has been named a third-team All-American by Collegiate Baseball Newspaper.

Buck (Richland, Wash.) leads the Sun Devils in several offensive categories heading into Friday's NCAA Tournament game against East Carolina. Buck started all 56 regular-season games with 17 starts at third base, 37 in right field and two in center field. The first-team All-Pac-10 selection ranks third in the league hitting .388 (94-for-242) with 22 doubles, three triples, four home runs, 38 RBI and 23 stolen bases.
