High School: A 2004 graduate of San Luis Obispo High School (San Luis Obispo, Calif.)... captured several individual titles in her career, including the California Division III cross country crown in 2002... placed in the Top 10 at the state meet two other times... as a member of the Pac 5 Conference, won five individual titles with four coming on the track... she won gold in the 800m run as a junior (2003) before sweeping the 800m, 1,600m and 3,200m runs as a senior (2004)... secured the conference cross country crown in 2003 as well... at SLOHS, she earned several honors, including the school's outstanding female athlete for 2003-04... in cross country, was selected Rookie of the Year (2000) and Outstanding Varsity Athlete (2001, 2002 and 2003)... on the track, she was named Most Valuable Track Distance Runner (2001 and 2002), Coaches Award (2003) and Outstanding Varsity Athlete (2004)... earned four letters each in cross country and track and field... captained both teams twice.
