High School: A 2006 graduate of Newport Harbor High School (Newport Beach, Calif.)... lettered four times in track & field and three times in cross country... captained both for two seasons each... twice selected as the Sea View League MVP in cross country (2004, 2005)... NHHS MVP in 2005 and 2006... CIF state cross country runner-up in 2004... Orange County champion in 2004... all-Orange County selection... on the track, set the Orange Country 3,200m meet record while winning the title... also secured league titles in the 1,600m and 3,200m runs.
