2007 XC: Closed the season on a high note, moving into the team scoring by finishing third at the NCAA Championships and 163rd in the overall standings... placed 26th in the Pac-10 Championships... named the team's Newcomer of the Year... opened the season with a sixth-place showing at the Dave Murray Invitational... third on the team (20th) at the Roy Griak Invitational to help the men to a runner-up finish in the team standings... 2007 Track: Redshirted... clocked a personal-best time of 14:35.79 in the 5,000m run at the KBC Nacht van de Atletiek meet in Heusden, Belgium... 2006 XC: Redshirted... ran in three races as an unattached athlete, finishing a season-high 15th at the Canyon West Classic.
High School: A 2006 graduate of Westerville North High School (Westerville, Ohio)... lettered four times each in track & field and cross country for the Warriors... captained the cross country team for three seasons... placed fourth to earn All-Ohio honors in cross country (2004)... also earned the all-state honors on the track after placing third in the 3,200m run (2005)... captured regional and district championships in the 1,600m (2006) and 3,200m (2006) runs... won the 800m (2006), 1,600m (2006) and 3,200m (2006) events at the Ohio Capital Conference meets... named 2004 Central District Cross Country Runner of the Year.
