May 3, 2004

LOS ANGELES, Calif. - Arizona State sophomore All-American swimmer David Kolozar won the 200m butterfly on Sunday at the Novaquatics-Speedo Grand Challenge at McDonald's Swim Stadium on the campus of USC. The long course meters meet, hosted by the Novaquatics swim team and Speedo from April 30-May 2, saw the Hungarian win the 200 fly on the final day with a time of 2:01.25 to finish well over a second ahead of his nearest competitor.

ASU Senior All-American Nick Brunelli turned in a fine performance on Friday with a second-place finish in the 50m freestyle. He clocked a 22.95 to finish just behind Novaquatics' Jason Lezak (22.51), one of the top freestyle sprinters in the world.
